LET THERE BE PANCAKES!

Get this. Santa left me a plethora of pancake goodies to open on Christmas morning. What could possibly be more perfect? There was a beautiful ceramic batter bowl and a fabulous stove-top griddle. And then....
...A pancake warmer! And it looks like a stack of pancakes! I didn't know that something this wonderful even existed.
I do believe that my 2009 is going to be filled with pancakes. Lots and lots of pancakes.

I love ;ancakes, but I never knew a pancake warmer existed! You're blog is so educational. Looking forward to hearing how you like the bread book. I've been engrossed this week in a book titled A Tale of 12 Kitchens by artist Jake Tilson. The photos alone are worth the book.

do you have a special, favorite pancake recipe? I am lazy with my pancakes and always just whip out the Bisquick, but have been wanting to branch out (I bake tons outside of pancakes...).

Also, looks like you need a butter bell. If you don't know about them, look it up online! I highly recommend them for hot MS summers when you can't leave your butter dish out.

Cristen: Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to comment! I made a blog post about my favorite pancakes recipe, which you can find here: http://madeinmississippi.blogspot.com/2008/06/prescription-for-pancakes.html And thanks for the heads-up on the butter bell! My husband will appreciate that.
